Miriam Gilson began her interest in health through athletics. This path brought health into perspective for her. It brought a positive state of mind and insight to the body that she would continue to pursue throughout her life and help bring to others.  

 

She took an interest in Sports Medicine at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She used this knowledge-base later to become an ACE personal trainer, which supported her while earning her Master's Course in Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA, 2008.

Miriam Gilson has since opened up clinics around the world. Some highlights of her career are volunteering in Guatemala, where she worked to provide acupuncture to the community within the general hospital. Miriam also developed private practices in Glasgow, Scotland and Laos & South East Asia; overcoming language and social barriers in the name of healthcare and adventure.

Miriam formed Kinetic Inner Qi Acupuncture & Sports Medicine, Inc. in 2017 after specializing in Sports Medicine Acupuncture with AcuSport Education/Matt Callison L.Ac., a pioneer in the field.  

 

She still assists in the coursework when possible focusing on Sports Medicine Acupuncture, postural assessment, structural integration & manual therapies: including myo-facial release, deep tissue massage and therapeutic exercise.  All in the effort to provide herself & patients with the most up to date information for relief.

Miriam is no stranger to work or consistent learning. She strives to bring Traditional Chinese Medicine to a broad patient base who has a need and desire to work toward focused goals. She delivers her years of experience with her gentle demeanor and warm bedside manner.
